If you have attended our CPD sessions, you will know we use padlet and mentimeter as approaches for communication exchange and interactions during sessions. Havita Mandande (faculty development) and Nancy Davies (TEL) will use this hour to guide delegates through creating resources which can be used for teaching.

This session will focus on the skill of giving feedback to enhance students learning. Guided by Jools Symons, Communications Lead and Cait Dennis, Faculty Development, delegates will gain insights into how to make their feedback more effective. Medical/Clinical education focus.

This hour long session will focus on the skills needed to facilitate a small group teaching session. Promoting active learning and effective teaching approaches shall be discussed. This will have a medical/clinical education focus and will be facilitated by the CPD team and volunteer facilitators.

This hour long session will introduce delegates to easy mentoring and coaching tools. These tools will provide a basis for supporting a student through learning challenges –  a medical education focus. Facilitated by Jools Symons and Zoe Ferguson - experienced mentor and coaches, this will be a useful teaching tips exchange.

We have been teaching online for some time now. This session communicates teaching tips for those who wish to make their online teaching effective. Facilitated by Nancy Davies and Cait Dennis, this will be an informal discussion and sharing good practice, building confidence in online teaching and tips for engagement and effectiveness.
