Interprofessional Learning Conference 2026

LIME’s Training and Recognition (CPD) Team are delighted to announce that the Interprofessional Learning Conference will return on Wednesday 16 September 2026. This event is a collaboration between the University of Leeds' School of Medicine and School of Healthcare.

The IPL Conference 2026 is designed to support the development of high‑quality clinical learning environments for our students, and ensure placement leads, educators and supervisors are informed, equipped, and connected.

The day brings together colleagues across Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, and Clinical programmes who collaborate to deliver essential updates on health professions education, Faculty of Medicine and Health initiatives and specific taught programmes.  Attendees have the opportunity to network and attend CPD workshops.  Students will also be contributing their perspectives.

To maximise attendance, the Conference is a hybrid event.  However, we do particularly value attendance in person as this maximises interactivity, engagement and connection.

This event is now sold out!  Only online tickets available.

Please arrive at Horizon Leeds from 8:30am.  The Conference will start at 9:15am and aims to finish at 4:30pm.

In addition to the presentations and updates already mentioned, this year will also feature a demystifying pedagogical research session, a student panel Q&A and CPD workshops on emotionally centred reflected spaces and work based assessment.*

Your delegate ticket will include refreshments and lunch. A selection of warm drinks and biscuits are available throughout the day and fresh water will be provided on tables during the event.

Particular dietary requirements or allergy information will be requested when you book your ticket.  A selection of tasty 'grab box' lunches will be available.
