Clinical Teaching Awards 2026 - applications now open
It’s that time of year again! Applications for the Clinical Teaching Excellence and Development Awards 2026 are now open.
The Clinical Teaching Excellence and Development Awards encourage, reward and celebrate exceptional undergraduate clinical teaching, and support the development of medical and healthcare staff who the School of Medicine rely upon to support our medical students.
There are 3 categories of clinical teaching awards:
- Individual Excellence
- Team Excellence
- Development
The awards are open to all medical and healthcare staff who currently teach or support University of Leeds MBChB students and plan to continue their involvement in teaching and learning. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate exceptional evidence of promoting and enhancing the student learning experience, supporting colleagues and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Individuals can apply for the Clinical Teaching Individual Excellence or the Development Awards.
Teams can apply for the Clinical Teaching Team Excellence Award.
Awards will be presented at our Interprofessional Learning Conference on 16 September 2026 at Horizon Leeds.
The deadline for applications is noon on Friday 8th May 2026.
