Excellent Longstanding Service Awards 2026 - nominations now open

Nominations for the Excellent Longstanding Service Awards are now open! 

Leeds School of Medicine wishes to recognise academic and clinical placement educators from all sectors who have a reputation for their longstanding commitment to teaching excellence and supporting our undergraduate medical students. 

We invite faculty and our placement partners from all sectors to nominate any staff members they feel would merit this recognition for excellence and outstanding commitment and would appreciate being put forward. Nominees who have a teaching/secondment contract with the University are eligible for the award

The deadline for nominations is noon Friday 8 May 2026.

These awards will be presented either at our Primary Care Development Day Conference (17 June 2026) or our Interprofessional Learning Conference (16 September 2026). Both conferences are being held at the Horizon Leeds conference venue.
